ROUND TRIP from THE ALPS to DALMATIA / program sugesstion
Day 1:
We begin our journey with a drive to the Julian Alps region in
Slovenia. Accommodation with halfboard is provided in Kranjska
Gora in 4 or 3 star Hotel.
Day 2:
After a good breakfast, we continue our journey with a drive through
the Gorenjska region to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. We
continue towards the southern part of Slovenia, we drive past
Novo mesto, the capital of southern Slovenia, and cross the Slovene-Croatian
border near Zagreb. We drive on the highway up to the town of
Karlovac and then continue 85 km to the Plitvice Lakes. Here we
visit the beautiful Croatian national park. The park lies in a
basin surrounded by wooded mountains, and boast 16 larger and
smaller lakes with crystal clear water. After the visit we drive
another 20-kilometers to Korenica town to Hotel Macola. Accommodation;
half board.
Day 3:
Ride to Dalmatia After breakfast in Korenica, we set out for the
Adriatic Coast. We make a stop at the Krka National Park and go
on a short tour of the Roški slap and Skaradinski buk waterfalls.
We resume the journey with a 20-kilometer drive to the town of
Zadar in the northern part of Dalmatia, where we go on a sightseeing
tour of the famous St Jakov Cathedral. We spend some free time
in the old part of the town and then we drive to our Hotel Alga/Afrodita*****
in the town of Tu·epi.
Day 4:
After breakfast, we visit the small town of Makarska and treat
ourselves with a free afternoon.
Day 5:
After breakfast, we resume our journey with a drive to the pearl
of the Adriatic coast - Dubrovnik. This was once one of the most
important towns in the whole Mediterranean region. Today, the
old part of the town is on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. One
of the most interesting sightseeing spots is the 1940-meter long
city wall, surrounding the entire old part of the town and offering
a wonderful view of Dubrovnik. We can also visit the Sponza Palace,
the Franciscan and Dominican monastery, the cathedral, the Stradun
main street, numerous squares and other sightseeing spots in Dubrovnik.

Day 5:
After breakfast, we go on a boat ride to the largest island in
Dalmatia, the island of Bra·, and admire its unique natural phenomena,
the white pebble beach of “Zlatni rat” in Bol. The conditions
for windsurfing are perfect – that is why the island is a very
popular among windsurfers. We go on a visit to a fishing village
and have some free time for relaxation and swimming. Fish picnic
on the boat.

Day 5:
After breakfast, we drive to Split, the capital of Dalmatia. Very
charming settelment of the town of Split in particular the old
town, surrounded by old roman walls, make a great impression.
Especially the biggest monument of Antic – palace of Diokletian,
many museeums and beautiful, elegant promenade keep visitors coming
to Split all year around. Free time for shoping; late afternoon
back to hotel in Tučepi.
Day 6:
At 8 a.m. after breakfast, we leave Tu·epi and drive towards the
north. On our way we make a stop into pitoresque town of Trogir,
a famous stronghold, located north of Split. We complete our journey
with a drive to Crikvenica riviera. We stay the night in Hotel
Selce in the town of Selce. Accommodation; half board.
Day 7:
After breakfast, we continue our drive to Rijeka and back to Slovenia.
On this way we can visit the famous Postojna Caves; or Ljubljana,
the capital of Slovenia. We resume our journey to the Alps and
stay the night at 4 or 3 star Hotel in Kranjska Gora. Accommodation;
half board.
Day 8:
Drive home after breakfast. The journey lasts at least 7 days
(with half board accommodation). The stay in Dalmatia can also
be prolonged on request. PRICES: after defining the period of
